ABOUT ATELIER 85

Atelier 85 was born from years of experience in making authentic furniture and a strong urge to bring original designs to life. What once started as a hobby in the evenings has now become my full-time “work,” which I do with great pleasure.

In my studio in Dordrecht, I make every piece of furniture by hand. No mass production, but artisanal craftsmanship with attention to detail. Every design is given the time and space it deserves, so that creativity and quality take center stage.

My collection consists of unique pieces inspired by styles such as Wabi Sabi, Senufo, and Scandi. As a result, my furniture comes into its own in various interior styles.

I enjoy working with natural and sustainable materials; the power and imperfections of nature are always central to my designs. My mission? To bring authentic and timeless designs to life that add character to every space they enter.
